THE ARTIST
LUCID DREAMING IN PAINT
My work lives in the threshold — between wild and still, between breath and canvas. Every painting is a study in presence.

WHAT I STAND FOR
Creation & Aliveness
I believe creativity is fundamental to being human. For me, making art is a way of returning to sensation, curiosity, intuition, play and presence—to the part of myself I call the Muse. It is a relationship between intention and surrender: knowing when to direct and when to listen, when to use everything I know and when to follow something I don't understand yet. I create from that place because I believe art can awaken something in the person encountering it too.
Create Beyond Boundaries
Creative freedom and expression is a standard that encompasses all areas of my life. I don't believe an artist has to fit neatly inside one medium, one style, one subject or one identity. Creativity should be allowed to move. Paint. Tattoo. Write. Experiment. Change direction. Learn something completely new. Colour outside the lines and stretch beyond the comfort zone of both technical skill and expression. I would rather risk making something unfamiliar than spend my life repeating what I already know how to do.
QUALITY & CRAFTSMANSHIP
I care deeply about the quality of what I put into the world. That means developing my skill, understanding my materials, paying attention to the details and continuing to learn even after decades of making art. Whether it's a painting, a tattoo, a print or something I haven't made yet, the medium may change but the standard doesn't. Experimentation is never an excuse for careless work. I want the finished piece to show both the hand of the artist and the skill behind it.
ORIGINALITY & AUTHENTICITY
I believe the most interesting thing an artist can develop is their own voice. Not a version of what's trending. Not what the algorithm rewards. Not somebody else's style with your signature underneath it. Influence is inevitable; imitation isn't an identity. I want my work to come from genuine curiosity, experience, instinct and point of view—even when that makes it harder to categorize or sell. The goal isn't to be different for the sake of being different. It's to make work that could only have come through me.
Creativity Matters
I believe creativity is one of the forces that moves the world forward. It isn't confined to art, and it isn't something reserved for people who call themselves artists. It is how we imagine what doesn't exist yet, solve problems differently, invent, discover, experiment and make the world richer than we found it. Our individuality is part of that. When we follow our curiosity, develop our own voice, pursue the things that fascinate us and pay attention to where the Muse keeps tugging at our sleeve, we arrive at ideas another person may never have reached in quite the same way. Those sparks can become paintings, inventions, businesses, discoveries, movements, stories, solutions—or something we don't have a name for yet. I don't believe creativity is frivolous. I believe our willingness to think differently, make things, ask what if?, and follow an idea beyond what is already known is fundamental to human progress.
